Business Development Manager, Ecommerce

Design Aglow is looking for a Business Development Manager to build and manage relationships with strategic partners and oversee brand and product development. The Business Development Manager communicates, coordinates and works closely with the leadership team, designers and developers to create products and content for our global community of photographers.

  • Strategic thinking, workflow organization and problem solving
  • Leadership in managing people, projects and resources
  • Development of a flawless user experience, via new technology and innovation
  • Idea creation and project mapping for new initiatives with partners
  • Communication and coordination with product manager, marketing manager and designers to deliver innovative experiences and products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field of study
  • 2+ years delivering ecommerce products, technology and services
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Direct experience focusing on brand and product growth
  • Ability to think at a strategic level and to dive into details
  • Demonstrated leadership and cross-functional success in a collaborative, creative environment
  • Strong technical acumen with an ability to evaluate and understand technology solutions
  • Well-versed in the latest design trends
  • Enthusiastic and optimistic, with great listening and communication skills
  • Shopify, Google Analytics, Trello and Adobe Creative Suite familiarity
  • Interest in art, photography and design

While we work hard, we encourage our team to take care of themselves, leave work on time and enjoy personal days and vacations. You won’t be slaving away at 6 pm or  working weekends here, unless that’s your jam. And the office is closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day, so we can enjoy family, friends and maybe some #PDXsnow.
