We’re Design Aglow, a small company with giant ideas. Since 2006, we’ve been an industry leader for information, products and education created for the success of professional portrait and wedding photographers. Our rockstar team of innovators has designed 350+ products to help photographers thrive,  launched a quarterly magazine, developed an educational summit, written two international best-selling books and created wholesale frame, packaging and album lines to serve our global market.

Why Design Aglow?

A profound sense of dedication is present in our office, fueling both our business practices and relationships within the industry. This theme carries through to offering a stellar brand experience plus a commitment to ongoing innovation and growth, keeping us vested in forward-thinking concepts.

We thrive working in a bright, open, collaborative environment where everyone has a voice and every idea counts. As a small company, we able to adapt to quickly shifting opportunities without red tape, corporate bureaucracy or board approval.  Innovation is a team constant, and we’re always seeking (and developing) the industry’s next big thing. At Design Aglow, the entrepreneurial and artistic spirits coexist, with one always pushing the other to new heights.

The Working Life

We believe cultivating an uplifting environment is key in balancing daily hard work and dedication. Business does not have to be boring and tedious….especially creative business. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and strive to be a no-yawn zone.

While we work hard, we encourage our team to take care of themselves, leave work on time and enjoy personal days and vacations. You won’t be slaving away at 6 pm or  working weekends here, unless that’s your jam. And the office is closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day, so we can enjoy family, friends and maybe some #PDXsnow.

Job Perks

We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, generous 401(k) savings plan, flexible schedule, personal days, and a dog-friendly office plus monthly fun and creative team experiences.

Our office is located in fabulous downtown Lake Oswego, with easy, free parking and walking access to cafes and coffee bars.

In 2017, our team took our first 7-day retreat: a Celebrity Cruise to Alaska. We’re pretty proud of the extensive Procedures Manual we created in between whale watching, hiking, and supporting our amateur karaoke team.

After a year or more planning every little detail of their wedding; the last thing clients want to do is make more decisions. When you pre-design an album that blows them away, chances are high that they will approve and order the album as you've designed it.
