5 Tips to Boost Your Bookings and Sales This Mother's Day

5 Tips to Boost Your Bookings and Sales This Mother's Day

Are you ready to start cashing in this Mother's Day? It's just around the corner (May 14th!), and we're positive most moms would prefer a custom portrait session over most anything bought last minute at the mall. We've got 5 quick and easy tips for you to use to make some extra moolah, all the while showing mom how amazing she is.

One.

Offer a small incentive (like 10% off) to your recent clients when they purchase a framed portrait or album for mom, with a time-sensitive (think: "this week only!") cut-off date.

Two.

Create a fun email for moms to forward to their spouses, telling them she wants portraits taken and detailing exactly how to book with you... 1, 2, 3 style.

Three.

Offer Mother's Day mini-sessions, for a limited time only . First come, first serve. Tell your clients all about them with aspirational images on social media and your blog, with a compelling call to action.

Four.

Include a complimentary matted and framed 8x10 portrait with all of your Mother's Day Sessions.

Five.

For clients who can't make it to a Mother's Day session, provide gift certificates in a gorgeous mini frame, good for a summer session (or another set date).

My husband (who is amazingly supportive) got on board immediately and we bought a camera. From there, I read, practiced, and photographed family and friends, and it naturally spiraled into what it has become today.
