Set Yourself Ahead of the Competition with the Newborn Welcome Packet

Looking for the best way to present your studio to new clients? With our Newborn Welcome Packet and Complete Baby plan, you'll secure your place with your clients as their go-to photographer to document not only the impending arrival of their baby, but also for their family as it grows throughout the years. It’s full of must-know information for those early sessions and it will help generate excitement during what can be a new (and sometimes nerve-wracking!) time in their life!

Rya of ryaphotos shares her success with these templates today: "My goal was to create a comprehensible welcome packet for new and potential baby plan members. I wanted a printable that would be easy for clients to understand and in turn, would set me apart from my competition and solidify the booking. I used the Newborn Welcome Packet and the 8- Page Brochure Printable from the Design Aglow Complete Baby Plan to build value for my brand while building my baby plan client base.

The Design Aglow Newborn Client Welcome Packet template has continued to help increase my baby's first year plan memberships. In fact, as of September 2014, I reached my maximum number of plan members that I'll be accepting for 2015.

I'm so excited about the success that this strategy has brought me and know that it is largely in part from implementing this useful template into my marketing. To give a recent example, one potential client who recently contacted me to discuss the possibility of us working together sent out a mass email to what you could tell was a group of photographers in our area. She probably just did a sort of blanket Google search and sent the email to multiple photographers. I replied back to her email with a suggestion to speak about the options we offer and get a handle on what her needs were. Having not heard back from her after our initial correspondence, I reached out again and suggested that we review my newborn client packet together to answer any questions that she may have. She replied back "We're still reviewing our options but you're free to send us your packet." Translation: They're price shopping. So I sent her my packet anyway and sent her one last email politely telling her that I would leave it up to her to contact me moving forward.

Well, within one day of receiving my welcome packet in the mail my client contacted me to book without hesitation — signed up on the spot and prepaid the full baby plan membership fee for a full year at the maximum commitment level!

I guess it just goes to show that putting your best foot (and work) forward and presenting it beautifully goes a long way. Thank you Design Aglow for continuously helping me to look polished and professional and to stand out among the crowd."

Thanks for sharing, Rya! We love your approach and are so happy for your success. Enjoy your $75 shopping spree on us~

Hi, I'm Casey, a floral and visual designer, specializing in creating stylized events and gatherings. More than that, I love putting together visuals for retail and residential spaces utilizing natural components and botanical elements. Serving as the Creative Director for PlantShed, a full service, floral boutique in Manhattan, I have worked closely with high fashion and couture designers, bespoke interior design firms, and textile companies to help produce cohesive and thoughtful designs. While typically inspired by nature and organic shapes, I enjoy experimenting with more structured design concepts, botanical textures, and other far-reaching design aesthetics. But I never really meant to live in New York City. I came here in 2011 to spend a summer and potentially expand my career as a floral designer. Landing odd jobs and working freelance in the industry was exciting and stressful at first, though I eventually found a home at PlantShed, a New York based floral and plant company. So, let me tell you about PlantShe

I started my photography career in 1990 and, as expected from a traditional film photographer, my career followed a familiar path that transitioned to shooting digital. What you might not expect is that I still embrace the traditional medium of film; in fact, it now lies at the heart of the images we create at Cooper Photography. I've encountered many milestones over the years, but what I could not have foreseen were the three notable changes that saw me move full circle:
