Photographing children and animals together is a great distraction for any child. Most kids hate to sit and pose for photographs. When you add an animal in the mix, they are distracted and focus less on a camera in their face. These types of sessions feel more like playtime than a photography session! I get the best interaction shots when I ask the child to find the animal's nose or look at their ears.
It doesn’t matter where your business is located, chances are you’re in a market saturated with other photographers. We’re all looking for ways we can stand out and make an impression to our potential clients through our marketing strategies. One way to have this impact is to display our work at vendor events or expos. That was definitely my way of thinking when I signed up as a vendor at an upscale “Day for Women” event this past spring.
Summer 2017 would probably go down as one of the most memorable summers of my life.
Firstly, I think people need to understand that my life is not all about traveling, taking pictures, and making videos. I am a pretty normal college student that studies marketing and information systems at a decent university in the city of Chicago. My life can get pretty boring during the semesters besides the occasional traveling I try to do on short breaks. This is why I really look forward to the long winter and summer vacations. I guess I kind of lied when I said I’m a pretty normal kid because I am blessed to be able to tell people that I am from Honolulu, Hawai’i.
