mini books are a perfect finish to any photo session

We have a beautiful mini book fan share from Melanie of Melanie Ashcraft Photography. She shares, "I absolutely love the Editor's Pick - Mini Book collection because of the versatility and look of it! I saw this collection as soon as it was announced and knew right away that it would be perfect for this family. It was easy and quick to change the image options and colors. This product allowed me to use a lot of images from their session, and I know it will be a gift they will always treasure. I changed some of the design to fit the images I wanted to use from a client's session. I also changed the colors to match the main colors of their session (light yellow and pink). I changed the front cover to fit a certain family image I wanted to use, and it worked perfectly. They have 4 children, and I wanted to make sure to be able to accommodate as many pictures of the family, individual children, and sibling shots as I could, so the product turned our perfectly. I chose the pearl finish to match all of their other press printed products they ordered from their session. Even though this was a gift, I still wanted the finish to flow with their coffee table book, and their cards. I'm extremely excited for them to see this gift, as they were so excited for their session and their products. They loved the look of the accordions, and I have no doubt they will love this gift once they open it." Thank you for sharing Melanie! Enjoy your $75 shopping spree to the store on us!

In college I took some digital photography and visual communication courses as part of my communication studies major, and decided to pursue a career in photography. I became a legal business and took my first paid client at age 20, and it's been quite a journey and adventure over the past nine years.

My business goals have changed a lot over the last few years. This year, my hope is to work on a handful of commercial projects with companies I believe in, and to carve out more time to work on personal projects. Both are important, but I believe growth and your creative voice is developed when you let your imagination run free without the constraints of it being “work.”

I secretly bought a mail-order 35mm camera when I was 15, and took lots of ordinary photos of animals and nature for several years. Although I majored in art and studied photography in college, my career started in marketing and advertising, from the client service end. Then I had the most beautiful baby, found my old camera and realized how much I love photographing people.
