gorgeous & simple boudoir album borders

Boudoir Album Photo BordersPhoto Border Templates for PhotoshopPhoto Borders for Boudoir PhotographyBoudoir Photography AlbumToday's lovely fan share comes from Dana of Dana Laymon Photography. She writes, "For this album, I hardly did anything that's why I loved it! Using the Le Petit Jardin Borders, I ran the simple action on the pictures I wanted to have the border. The action automatically creates a 10x10 page with the border around your image, which is great since my albums are 10x10 anyway. I didn't even realize this so it was an added bonus! I just added a black border around the images to make them pop against the white page. I then took my finished 10x10 pages and ordered my album through MpixPro. I love the borders because they do the work for you and it was so simple! I have never purchased borders from Design Aglow and have been wanting to for a while. The instructions they came with were so helpful and easy to follow even if you don't know anything about actions or the complex features of Photoshop. They make it easy for anyone to use. My clients love these albums and the sexy, soft feel the borders give the album. They really go along with the style of my work. I just delivered this album to my client and she loved it! She actually commented on the borders and how they were better than the ones I'd used in previous albums! Simple, pretty borders for a simple, pretty album."

Thanks for the great share, Dana, and enjoy your $75 gift certificate on us~

From a very early age I loved taking pictures and looking at them in magazines and books, but the art of photography captured my heart when I was a teenager, on my first overseas trip to Wales. From that point, I began shooting with a little film SLR and having my friend model for me. In college I took some digital photography and visual communication courses as part of my communication studies major, and decided to pursue a career in photography. I became a legal business and took my first paid client at age 20, and it's been quite a journey and adventure over the past nine years.

My business goals have changed a lot over the last few years. This year, my hope is to work on a handful of commercial projects with companies I believe in, and to carve out more time to work on personal projects. Both are important, but I believe growth and your creative voice is developed when you let your imagination run free without the constraints of it being “work.”

I secretly bought a mail-order 35mm camera when I was 15, and took lots of ordinary photos of animals and nature for several years. Although I majored in art and studied photography in college, my career started in marketing and advertising, from the client service end. Then I had the most beautiful baby, found my old camera and realized how much I love photographing people.
