sweet 16 as a sweeeeeet party invitation

Trish Mennell shares this adorable Sweet 16 as a card today writing, "I just love the Sweet 16 Circles action template! I created these gorgeous bat mitzvah invites almost a year after a session when mom called to see if I could help her with invites. It was an easy-peasy way to use images I'd already shot to create a wonderful product and make myself look like a genius to my client (plus introduce my imagery to hundreds of potential clients). I also had an 8x8 mounted print from WHCC framed as a gift for mom with absolutely zero additional work. It all took about ten minutes to design (but, of course, I didn't tell mom that!" Lovely idea, Trish. Your $75 gift certificate is on the way~

Both are important, but I believe growth and your creative voice is developed when you let your imagination run free without the constraints of it being “work.”

I secretly bought a mail-order 35mm camera when I was 15, and took lots of ordinary photos of animals and nature for several years. Although I majored in art and studied photography in college, my career started in marketing and advertising, from the client service end. Then I had the most beautiful baby, found my old camera and realized how much I love photographing people.
