“When exposed to a vision such as yours, I can only say “thank you.” When I played saxophone in college and a bit after that, hearing Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, and others, would alternately make me want to grab my horn and “just go!” Or just put it away, accept my (non)place at the table, and be content to listen, love and share their gift with others.
