How low can you go? Some way down low images from the mistress of light, Jessica Johnston.
“We love this couple-so full of life and energy! But we were faced with a bit of a challenge shooting their winter wedding. We decided to work with what low light levels we had in the church by opening up a window (it was cold-but that is okay!) to get some lovely light on them sitting in the pew. We shot that image with our 45mm TSE lens. Then later in the evening we headed to Detroit for some downtown shooting. We arrived just as the light was gone. We shot the image of the couple closely hugging underneath a bank of lights outside of a building overhang. A great solution to our low light levels-and we adore the result!”
Jessica was a winner of the Top Knots 2007: best wedding photographers in the country and we will be featuring her in the upcoming Design Aglow: Issue 4, the Art Issue.
