Jeanine McLeod of Cloud 9 Studios sent us a great share today!  She says, “I took the elements from the Modern Whimsy Mix and Match Album and Calendar Templates to create a note card that I am calling “Love Notes”. We are giving these note cards to all our clients during their sessions so they can write why they love the person in the photograph.

I feel that technology is almost robbing us of the personal touches we grew up with. After my mother showed me a postcard that my grandmother had sent in the 1940s I realized that our kids may not have anything written from us to pass on to their kids!

Our portrait sessions are already very emotional. It is a time where families come together and share time, love and life. We already have them purchasing portraits for their walls and albums that they will be able to pass on to the future generations, so why not a hand written note? Aside from that, everyone deserves to know why they are loved!

Hence, I came up with our “Love Notes”. These are notecards I designed to give during a portrait session. Parents can write notes to their children, grandparents to their grandkids, etc. The idea being to share why you love the person in YOUR HANDWRITING. I believe the addition of these notecards to our sessions will add to the experience each family has when they come to the studio.

I started these this week and already the families that have come in have been excited. I can only imagine the response in the future will be amazing.”
