Today’s share comes from Jessie of J. Passon Portraiture. She writes, “I love it when I can cross two items off of my “to do” list at the same time! This time it was thanks to Design Aglow–yet again. We moved into an old Victorian house just under 9 months ago and with a renovation list miles long I just had to do something to put a little of “us” into the house. Digging into my DA files, I came across the Larger Than Life canvas templates that I purchased a while ago and came up with a great way to satisfy my need for art on the walls (until we can paint!) as well as introduce this product to clients this year.
Taking my favorite images from each of my daughters’ 1 year old and 3 year old sessions I chose one layout from Larger Than Life and used it for two different canvases. Knowing that they will eventually share a room later on, I wanted the canvases to be the same size and layout. It was a piece of cake to re size the template to fit my 26×36 gallery wrap canvas desires. Their sessions were photographed at different locations, but they both happened to wear cream dresses at one point so I chose images from that outfit in each of their galleries. This was such an easy way to create totally unique canvases for each of them, yet keeping a cohesive look for display in the same room later on. For now the canvases are proudly displayed in their rooms and I will soon be showing them off loud and clear to clients!
