Today’s fan share comes from Yana of Yana K Photography. She writes, “I used the Fleur Book template to make this beautiful kids album. Not only do the designs look amazing throughout the album pages, but they look great as storyboards too.
I love it that this design is simple but adds a nice touch to my kids photography albums (as opposed to plain white background), so my albums are still able to keep a classy look. The colors can be customized so it can easily tie in with the colors I use at each session. For this album, since I wanted to create an album for my studio, I used my company colors (pink and yellow) and it was so easy to tie in the colors throughout the pages. Now when my clients order their album, I simply change up the colors to fit in with the color palette of their photo session and the finished look just goes so well together! And since I shoot on location at an out door location, the flower designs always seem to match my sessions.
With my storyboards, I would always keep it very clean with just three photographs and a white background, but I tried customizing an album page to create my latest storyboard and it turned amazing! It’s a little more than just the matted look that a multi-picture frame would give and yet it’s not too much. The design can stand the test of time throughout the years and still look classy (plus it frames my logo nicely).
My clients love the design. At first they wanted to keep it a clean design for longevity purposes (simple always stays in style) but once I showed them this clean yet unique design, they absolutely loved it.”
