Today we have another lovely fan share from Jessie of J. Passon Artistic Portraiture. She writes, “Quite a while ago I purchased the Modern Family Album templates. Even though I don’t currently offer albums or coffee table books to my clients, I loved the simple and clean design of the Modern Family Album and wanted to have it on hand.  I am so glad I did!  About a year and a half ago a very special client found out that her youngest child was autistic.  One of her first calls was to me.  She wasn’t sure how, but she knew that she wanted to somehow record this major event in their family’s life.  We met and I came up with the idea of photographing her son every three months over the course of a year to document his growth, development and entrance into a special preschool program.  I thought of this as a way to give back and did not charge her any session fee, taking this on as a personal project. She ordered her favorite prints from each session we had, knowing that at the end of the year I would create an album with all of the final images from all four sessions included.  Designing the book was a breeze!  I chose my favorite layouts and the ones that worked best with the images I had from the Modern Family Album and created a 10×10, 32 page hardback book.  She is in love with the book and couldn’t believe how much her son had grown over the course of the year. As her son grows and gains more skills, this book will serve as a reminder of a time in their life of much growth, for everyone.
