Today’s share comes from Courtney of Courtney Price Photography. She writes, “I used a combination of 3 Design Aglow products to create this invitation set – Mr. Big, Lush Life Photo Presentation Boxes & Finishing Touch Borders. There were actually 3 cards printed to make this:
1. A flat 5×7 printed on both sides with images & invite.
2. A flat 5×7 printed on both sides with images & wedding information, but it was designed to cut in half (top and bottom are the same) and stack on top of the large invite.
3. A flat 5×7 printed on both sides with images & registry information, also designed to be cut in half.
So, if 200 of the invites were needed, only 100 were ordered of cards 2 & 3. Then, a stretchy piece of lace can be either glued (allow to completely dry before putting it around the card) or sewn and used as a band to keep all the “ephemera” together. It looks great with black, but off-white looked beautiful with this particular card as well.
It fit my bride’s style perfectly. She had piniterest boards full of vintage/ephemera style ideas for her wedding reception, etc. She also wanted to include lots of photographs in the invite, so this stack-up method was a creative way to include everything she wanted. Texturally, it is a treat to open as we printed on linen paper. As it is opened, any way you turn every card coordinates beautifully with each piece. It is something I have certainly never received in the mail! I actually know many of the recipients of this invitation personally and they have all been really excited to get it! This is definitely one of my most favorite invites EVER!
Thanks so much for the lovely share, Courtney! Enjoy your $75 Design Aglow shopping spree on us~
