What a smart cookie! Lindsey customized her InspireGuide with her signature colors…we love that she shares her technique here on the blog.

To chage the color of the picture frames

*Create new layer (optional)

*Select the Magic Wand Tool

*Select the middle of a picture frame (this should give you the “marching ants around the inside of the frame”)

*Go to Edit

*Select Fill

*Select Color and match your color to whatever you desire

To Change the color of the light gray background designs

*Create New Layer (optional)

*Go to Select

*Go to Color Range

*The Select Box (above fuzziness) should read : Sampled Colors

*Slide your Fuzziness to “0″ (this was the key step! )

*The button below the picture should have “image” selected (instead of “selection”)

*The Selection Preview box should read : Quick Mask

*The invert box should not be checked

*The “sampled colors” box will give you an eyedropper tool to use….select the light gray area that you want to change (in the image in the box)

*Select OK

*All of the “marching ants” should be surrounding the light gray background designs of the Jpeg.

*Go to Edit

*Go to Fill

*Use Eye-dropper to select your color (same as in above)

*If you wish to play with the opacity of your color, you can do so in the layers box.
