Adele, a participant in my last marketing workshop, wanted to share a successful promotion that helped her bring in an extra $8000 to her studio in 1 WEEK! During the week before Christmas, she offered “Double Value Gift Cards” which were presented as gifts using the Design Aglow holiday card templates, customized with her studio colors. The promotion reads “Save up to $500 on portraits: We will double your gift card purchase amount (max purchase $500) Ex. 300 purchase=$600 card value.” Adele says EVERY single client purchased the max gift amount of $500. Next year, she plans to offer these earlier and to double the maximum amount, to $1000.
