Did you know our last issue, #6 (the Style Issue) has been our fastest selling article collection? We get so many emails about the Flip Books project, which is included as our featured project. Here’s the latest one…from Christy Cross.
“I was really excited to know about these flipbooks when I saw the preview on the blog. I anxiously awaited for No. 6 and when it came out I bought it and read up on how to make these cool books.
Items I used to make my flipbook:
Medium size book ring found at office supply store
eleven 5×7 metallic prints, printed and mounted by WHCC
one 5×7 metallic cover page mounted
hole punch (wasn’t sure if my wimpy hole punch would work, but it did!)
ribbon to dress up the book ring
Fun title for my flipbook “Model Material”
Awesome template used from the black and white Christmas cards 2008 for my cover
Light colored marker to mark the hole for punching on the lighter prints
This took very little time, which is great being a mom and working out of my house. It reminded me that I can still be crafty, be a wife and a mommy, and business owner all at the same time :) Thanks for all the fun ideas.”
Thank YOU for sharing for awesome craftyness with us. A $75 gift certificate is on the way to you right now~
