Jayne Rohlfing shares her brilliant display with us today.
She writes, “I was given permission by my local library to display some of my photographs in their children’s section. I could have used as much space as I wanted, but I also had a limited budget. And honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed with how to even go about a display of my photos. Separate, framed images? Multiple, small storyboards? The possibilities seemed endless … and that’s not what I needed right then! Since I wanted to show the details and story of a typical family session, I opted to use a storyboard style display instead of individual pieces.
However, typical storyboards aren’t large enough to catch the viewer’s attention of each image on the board. Thankfully, that’s where Design Aglow’s Larger Than Life templates came into play … and before I knew it I had finished my display in no time! Something I loved right off the bat about the Larger Than Life templates? The “INSERT ONE IMAGE” action. All too often, I don’t have the storyboard completely mapped out in my head before I start.
The automatic action-based template allowed my to easily place one image at a time so I could find the perfect photo for each spot. Other things I love about them? As usual with all your products, they are so easily customized. I added those small borders and my company name and website within seconds. I also love the fact that I can use them to blog sessions easily as well. The extra bonus of using them for my blog is that if my client likes it, I already have the 30″x40″ version created! And if they need to me to swap out a few images, not a problem either! Plus, as you can tell, you can crop out the wrap border and easily print your Larger Than Life image on Standout (which is what I chose) or as an unmounted print. Thanks Design Aglow!”
Thanks so much for your share, Jayne. A $75 gift certificate to the way to you….enjoy!
