Heidi Watts shares her spooktacular creative use for our Silhouette Guide today, just in time for Halloween.
She writes, “Just thought I’d share my seasonal twist on the traditional sillouette . . .Eventually I want to put them in weathered/worn frames and then stretch fake spider webbing around them and maybe drape some spiders on the webs. (A little Hogwarts-like inspiration.) But since they are my own kids (and always get pushed to the bottom of the stack) I have only ordered the prints and won’t have enough time to weather the frames this year. However, to enjoy them as much as possible this year, ribbon will be my quick fix (they are mounted on gator board.) The woman in pearls is actually a 9 year old tomboy, so although not “spooky,” the transformation is most certainly a disguise! She was wearing a ski hat and t-shirt when the picture was taken!”
Now that Heidi has us all inspired, we could make some really cool Santas and elves for Christmas….see more of the gorgeous 83 page silhouette guide here.
