Courtney Price sends us this unbelievably cool and unique share today, “Hi! I know this is an unusual share, but I thought this was a fun medium :) A new way to use your great products!
I wanted to try using freezer paper as a stencil on T-shirts, but I was having a hard time choosing what I should do! After staring at the bland Photoshop “clip art” I started thinking, ‘clean lines, classic look, fun and different… Design Aglow!’ I opened my file with all my goodies from you guys and the possibilities just jumped out at me. I decided on a vintage car from Inspire Guide: Portrait Displays 1, which is perfect for my vehicle OBSESSED little man. I printed it onto freezer paper, cut it out using a craft knife to create a stencil, ironed it onto a shirt (dry iron), painted with some metallic fabric paint and VIOLA! I think it turned out really cute and he even walked around showing people waiting for them to say ‘ooooooh’ and ‘you’re so cute!’
Another great perk is that when we get compliments, it’s a great lead-in to, ‘yes, I made it myself…I use a lot of these kinds of fun graphic designs in my work… I’m a photographer…’ Gotta remember to carry cards :)
Thank you! I’m totally going to make more for my girls using your designs. And I was thinking some of the other shapes from the Inspire Guides like cribs, etc. would look cute on a onesie for a baby gift. Or using the Silhouette Guide for a super-personal look? The brain is working overtime!”
I think this is the most unique use of our products ever! Think of all the possibilities with iron-on + Design Aglow…wow!
