Hello. We’re Design Aglow, a little company with giant ideas. Since 2006, we’ve been the industry leader for information, education, and templates created for the success of professional portrait and wedding photographers. Our team has created 300+ products that help photographers shine, and we’re beginning a long-term growth cycle that includes two internationally published books in partnership with Random House and an online wholesale frame shop to serve our North American market. Innovation is a team constant, and we’re always seeking (and developing!) the industry’s next big thing. At Design Aglow, the entrepreneurial and artistic spirits coexist, with one always pushing the other to new heights.
We strive to maintain an open and creative work environment where everyone has the ability to voice opinions and affect company strategies. Our growth is a direct result of consistently setting trends (rather than following them) and growing a strong team of dedicated, passionate employees.
Designers – We are always looking for bright new talent to add to our growing team. Is your design style fresh, clean, elegant and modern? Are you well-versed in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator? Are you looking to build your portfolio while working with a talented company of visionaries? Potential designers must be self-starters, able to finish projects on a strict deadline, work independently, be creative and able to conceptualize new ideas, and be proficient in industry software. Production Assistants - (Preferably located in West Palm Beach, but open to telecommuting for the right person!) Are you proficient in Photoshop and InDesign and have a knack for keeping things organized? We need you! Assistants work closely with the production manager and lead designer and perform (but are not limited to!) the following tasks: assisting customers via email and phone, converting products from Photoshop to InDesign and vice versa, correspond with contributing photographers, ordering sample products via ROES systems, collecting and curating images for new products, and assisting in the copyrighting process of all products. Some of the characteristics we look for in production assistants are: excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, a working knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and the MAC operating system, customer service experience, familiarity with the professional photography industry and current trends, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced team environment, with a high level of creativity and entrepreneurship. Please email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in becoming an essential part of the Design Aglow team!
Writers - We know you can shoot images, but can you shoot the breeze? Design Aglow is looking for a few amazingly talented writers to pen articles for our renowned products and business resources. You must have the ability to interview, stay on a deadline, produce detailed, industry specific content, and produce content that is enjoyable and educational for the reader. Pay is competitive and our experienced team of professional writers boasts some of the best in the industry. Do you think you have what it takes? If so, click this link and tell us more about yourself.
We look forward to hearing from you!
