collage templates are great for birthday displays
Today’s lovely share comes from Janet of Janet Moon Photography. She writes, “Since my daughter’s first birthday fell right in the middle of my busiest season, I turned to Design Aglow to easily create several pieces for her party. I used the Sweet 16 Fleur template to create a 16×16 Thinwrap printed on metallic and coated with satin laminate. I took off all the floral accents for a simpler design and easily customized the colors to match my daughter’s dress. I also used pieces from the Sweet 16 Fleur to create a traditional Korean “Doljabi” 16×16 board printed on metallic paper mounted on styrene. Finally, I used the template once again for the front of the 5×7 press printed thank you cards highlighting the details of the party. I used one of the borders from the Assorted Designer Borders set to frame the large portrait on the back of the card. Design Aglow made the process of creating one of a kind pieces for my daughter’s event quick and easy and they turned out beautiful.”

living with art: modern picture box

Today’s “living with art” winning share comes from Denise Chastain of Modern Wedding Photography. She says, “This image is a 20×30 print mounted on masonite, displayed in a 26.5×36 recessed shadow box that is built into the wall. The are two small tungsten lights built in above as well. We had our good friend, who is an amazing carpenter, custom make this for us. We have a few mounted prints around so we can rotate them, and they just lean on the wall within the picture box. This is in the foyer of our studio, and it’s the first thing clients see as they enter, next to two O’Brien Schridde framed prints. We did have to reconfigure a structural beam to make it work, but anything in the name of art!”
We love this creative display, and that it can easily be updated to be fresh and new!
mini accordion albums to market your studio

Today’s fabulous share is from Melissa Jeffcoat of Melissa Arlena Photography. She writes, “I wanted to create a mini accordion album for my client to share the photos from her session with all her friends and I wanted it to look fresh and modern. I love the Visual Poetry templates and it was so easy to customize one to fit my vision. For the cover I wanted something that would really catch your attention and I knew the vintage camera templates from Objects of My Affection would be perfect! It was so easy to put everything together. I ordered the minis through WHCC and chose the pearl paper and a metallic cover which really sets off the camera on the album cover!
I love that it is so easy to mix and match the Design Aglow templates to create unique products for my clients. My client loved them and plans to show them off to all her friends! Thank you so much for having such great designs that keep my products fresh and my clients coming back for more!”
We love these mini albums! Thanks for sharing, Melissa. Enjoy your $75 gift certificate in the Design aglow shop~
keep your studio organized beautifully

Today’s creative share comes from Shannon of Shannon Confair Photography. She says, “I used several design elements from the Secret Crush templates to create a 2011 business binder for myself (printed through Zazzle.com). One of the areas I lack in: organization! I’m so excited to put this binder to use to organize my client files, expenses, contracts, and open orders. I ordered the 2″ binder so there is plenty of room for everything to fit in. I’ll take this binder with me to all consultations, and not only will it give me a more professional look than file folders, but it will be free advertising for others to see!”
Thanks for the great share, Shannon. Your $75 gift certificate is on the way~
